The finale of the event, which I must call the "Uren Run", was said to be the journey that Jeff Uren took each of his perspective buyers/owner to show the performance of the vehicle and finally seal the deal that made you a unique owner of a Race Proved Uren car Whether it be a Cortina, Capri, Escort, Granada or maybe a Transit. Funny enough this ended up in a pub called the Hare and Hounds in Isleworth.

In total 22 requested invites with which 18 arrived, many owners also arrived with literature proving they owned a genuine Uren car. One owner was amazed that somebody else had a mark three Savage, and the number of Comanche's in bits have grown. This event equals the number of Uren car's in one place but went one better it was where they were built. Since this event the enthusiasm for the cars has encouraged the owners to look at having a regular meeting and reform a club that had lost direction some years ago.
