Hi all

I have a Ford pinto 2l and I all ready have a injection head on it so I am waiting to turn it in to full injection engine so I have go a full kit I think not sure if I have something missing. And I am not to sure about the wiring.so what I was wondering if I add some pictures of what I have do you think you could please help me. Thanks

Hi there,

Just wondered if anyone is interested in some Cortina Mark 5 car keys? They were for a 1983 Y Reg GL 1.6 car which no longer exists. There is a TC code for them: TC332.

I wasn't sure where to post on your site, but glad to see that there are some enthusiasts who may be possibly be interested.

(Would like to upload a photo, but it exceeds 0.15MB limit).

I can´t find pictures that I posted some years ago.

I just tried to us the MK3 vin plate decoder for my MK3 GXL and under " Engine" drop down list my NB code is not there,same in "Trim " my code of J1 is not there.

Also do i have to insert the numbers after the Vin BABFMK.

And what details do i get back that i may not already know ?

BSC app/ icon for ipad

I’ve recently had a birthday and my partner bought me an apple iPad Air. lucky me 😀

On my apple iPhone I’ve got an icon for BSC that takes me straight into this site.

Now me of little brain cannot recall how I got that icon, and would like to put it on my iPad if that’s possible.

Can admin or some techno phone guru tell me how, please? Thanks!

Hello, I get Notifications saying - Somebody reacted to a post in a topic ……….. sometimes this relates to a contribution to a post I started, sometimes there is nothing. What does this mean please. I’m just a bit confused. I’ve looked on the notifications settings but not found an answer, maybe my poor IT skills. No big problem just curious.

How to post your pictures on BSC

first you need to get yourself a photobucket account . www.photobucket.com then upload your pictures from your pc to your P/B acount

then when you have your pictures on P/B you have to put your cursor over your picture and you get a box with options in. you need the bottom line

which says IMG code . right click that and copy it. then back to your bsc thead right click and paste it then click add reply you should have your picture on your bsc thread. good luck

ps: have 2 window open bsc and photobucket then you can click back an forth between the 2 sites

Hi is it right that they are going to increase the ethanol level in petrol to 10 from September ? if so is there anything on the market we can add to the tank to counter the effects this increase will have on our fuel systems and what effect will this increase have on the performance of the engine ? they are saying over 600.000 cars will be effected

hi all, many years ago this mk 5 GL 1.6 was my first car. I’d love to know if it’s still around or if it’s bean cans years ago. It still shows on the dvla and tax due 1991.

Tried searching for members again and had no luck . Apart from the basic reading unread posts I find most things on here much more difficult now . On some of the older versions of this forum i found it much easier to do stuff , makes you feel daft when you have to ask how to do things .

I decoded my vin for my mk3. but the options for my engine and trim wern't available.

Trim: AA

Also does anyone know if its possible to get a sticker for the vin plate? mines impossible to read.

So I bought myself a full tow bar kit from a member on here for my mk5.

Had a little look today. Do i need to remove the tank to get it where the bumper bolts go. It's a 3 piece one.

Good afternoon everyone, new to this lark, signed up to put an ad for some parts I need and got quite a few replies but not sure how to reply. Asked my teenage son but only speaks when he wants a new mountain bike/guitar.
