I have found this 74-75 Mk3 steering for sale here and i want to buy it but im not sure if its just a bolt on swap or i need an adapter or something.

From the brochure pictures below it looks like the distance from the steering column to where the steering wheel sits is about the same distance between Mk3 and Mk4 and since the steering column is also the same i guess it should just be a bolt on swap without any modifications? I have also found this video where the guy swaps the 4 spoke wheel with the 2 spoke wheel and the 4 spoke one comes with a adapter looking extension meanwhile the 2 spoke wheel itself is long already and doesnt need that extra extension and he just takes the 4 spoke wheel off and puts the 2 spoke one in using the same bolt and without doing any modifications so i was hoping that it will be the same type of deal with a 74-75 Mk3 steering wheel.

But im not 100% sure so i was wondering if anybody knows the answer so that i can decide on buying this wheel or not.
Hi all, been thinking about my zetec swap like I have been for the last decade, wondering about what to use for an intake. Then I noticed there are adapter plates to bolt a CVH intake manifold onto a Zetec head. My first question is, does the 2.0 pinto manifold match the CVH manifold pattern?

And my maybe crazy idea... A decade ago I was given this vintage Eggers-Vetting mechanical fuel Injection setup to fit a 2.0 pinto by a coworker who raced formula Ford back in the day. I see it's also somewhat common here in North America to take a similar Hillborn mechanical injection setup, and install electric fuel injectors. IF the Pinto manifold matches the CVH pattern, then in theory, could I electrify this mechanical injection manifold, with a TPS sensor of some sort and run it on the Zetec? This would surely be within my shoe-string budget, compared to some other custom options.

Hi all. I'm considering installing modern tension seatbelts in my 1976 Mk.3 pickup. I drive it about once a week, which is enough for me to consider safety.

So I came here to be talked out of it if it's a bad idea. With the original static seatbelts if I fasten it fully it's very uncomfortable and I can't even come close to reaching the dash handbrake without having to loosen it, and therein comes the safety concern. These things will be near useless in a collision unless I've by chance properly tensioned it pre-collision.

I know some may want to keep it in original condition. This Mk.3 - while in very good condition - isn't such that it's fully original to the last detail and I don't consider it a "classic" to that extent that it needs to be kept 100% original.

So yay or nay? Did you all keep it original, or have some installed modern seatbelts? Best option I thought would be if modern seatbelts could be installed into the current setup so that it could be changed back to the static belts in the future.

And then if it's not considered profanity to do so, where would I have such a retrofit done? Since it's about safety I'm not considering doing it myself.

Trying to find a suitable Lower Radiator Hose for my MK3 from the TX1 Black Cab Radiator up to the Water Pump inlet on the engine. Viscous fan removed so distance from radiator before going up to the water pump is very short.

If anyone has the same engine/rad set up, you may just be able to help.

	Many Thanks

	Hello all,

I've acquired a set of R/S alloys that I'm hoping to use on my MK5 estate and 67 Corsair. I need some deeper wheel nuts to suit and hoping to get one set that fits both cars.

So the question is, does anyone know the thread size for both cars wheel studs/nuts? I'm thinking 7/16 unf but I have no thread gauges to check with.

Thanks in advance of any help.

	Folks

I am about to get my Mk1 Airflow seats recovered

The old metal "S" springs are very soft and saw rubber diaphragms on eBay apparently they fit both Mk1 and 2

Has anybody verified this, or have installed them and were they an improvement ?

No I am not putting in alternative seats.

The seats will be going to an upholsterer friend of mine and I will get the Aldridge covers for him to fit.
