Also use some exhaust sealant when joining the 2 pipes.

I've replaced the scrapers now, it was surprisingly straightforward to do. The only problem I had was that the old scrapers were very brittle and had a metal insert that in each one was badly corroded. Once removed, the new scrapers plopped in nicely 🙂

No glass doesn't have to come out the strips are held in by clips use a flat blade screw driver to ease the spring clips open then pull strip up. You'll have to work your way along two or three times so you don't break the clips. Yes replace the plastic sheet with something similar hardest part is getting the sealer of use a heat gun & scraper.

It will have a leaking seal or seals in the master cylinder not the sERvo. That kit will not work, as yours is fitted with the Ate brand of master cylinder identifiable by the 13mm mounting nuts & narrower distance between the two mounting studs. That cylinder was only used for approx the last 12 months of production ( late 81-82) on Mk5 cortinas in tHe UK & is hard to find or find parts for. The later one's late late TC2-3 have 3 pipes instead of but you can blank the lower front one of with a bleed nipple & it will work correctly.

At the moment yes. Over the winter it had antifreeze in it and I didn't run it, except maybe once or twice when it would fire up without melting the positive lead to the knackered starter, but not long enough to get it up to temp properly.
