  3. Hello BSC people, I'm on the hunt for mk3 GXL ruby door rubbers as mine are split & shrunk I know I can buy black but ideally I'd like to replace with red & black as per original.... & any seat vinyl people might have ? 4. All she needs to do is fill out dvla form v888. Because she was a former keeper they will send her a copy of all the v5's. She then has the address of the current owner. A dvla vehicle check should flag up the mot station it was last mot'd in
  5. Tiswass, must be easier to repair roof than rotten bulkhead sides, sills & lower rears ?. RT1600, why does an import make a difference ?. It was a uk car to begin with & its Rhd & mph speedo just hasn't fizzed away like many 70s Fords ?
  6. Thought this sold cheap for a solid rare car ? What are people's thoughts https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F182954052078

I'm selling this due to more important projects, No doubt I'll kick myself in years to come http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574629005&toolid=10001&campid=5335900709&customid=&mpre=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK3-FORD-CORTINA-GXL-2-0-PROJECT-/112217134091?hash=item1a20a9940b:g:H5AAAOSw4GVYOVIU
  12. I have this on ebay if anyone's interested in repair panels http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574629005&toolid=10001&campid=5335900709&customid=&mpre=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK3-FORD-CORTINA-FRONT-END-CUT-FROM-SHELL-/112203432132?hash=item1a1fd880c4:g:~VcAAOSw8w1YBRRU
  13. You might already know but the Duratec engine has a different bolt pattern to all the other Ford engines. So a type 9 box will not bolt straight to a Duratec engine. You will need a custom bellhousing
  14. Hi BSC people, I'm working on improving my brakes on my Mk3 for faster road use. I've got grooved/vented Capri disc's, Mk2 Granada caliper's, braided lines. The stopping is ok but not great, One day I could disc brake the rear axle but the next & frankly easier step I'm thinking Would a landrover master cyl or bigger Mk2 Granada servo make things better ?? Thanks
  15. Cheers Joe It all helps out to keep another one on the road
