    sounds rediculous... but i keep a small tray of dishwasher powder in the spare wheel well, obsorbes moisture in the attmospheer. dan.

    i need front suspention for my mk2 1600 not entirely sure whats what but cant really afford new adjustable jobbies.. where can i find like new or 2nd hand standard ones??? cheers dan :)

    do you think new track controll arms could be the answer then?? as iv realised now, its shredding both front tires on the insides :/

    You sure it's not something as simple as a buckled wheel? Have you tried jacking the car and spinning the wheels? its not the wheels mate iv changed them to make sure :/

    i kerbed my mk2 :( only slightly now it wont go streight! iv had a good look underneath, no obviouse damage to track control arms. all new polly bushes.. had the tracking done fine but as soon as your over 30mph it pulls and yanks to the left and right! :/ is there anything i should be looking for? or checking? cheers.     i found there pretty adaptable mate. i picked a new 1 up for £20, machined it to fit the cerclip and extended the push rod a little.. works fine mate :)

    i had exactly the same problem mate the series 2 box ( single rail type 3 box) looks like an escort one with externall thread but orderd one and didnt fit. so resorted back to the 2000e box with internall thread.
