I did read Google MK3 pfl engine sits higher hence the packing Also camber is more on a mk5 I run a mk5 in my MK3 and the camber Is alot more than same hight with pfl I have both subframes up in my storage I'm off on my holidays this week But I'll grab a few pics for you next week Also found that a square block on the steering coupler hits subframe on a later one but most I've seen and got are the round type rubber

Well it's been my daily for the past 5 thousand miles nice to get out in it after all this time ,engines liking some oil but ha ho Smells nice with some Castrol r in it Going duratec and mazda 6 speed with 2.8 lsd this winter Bit off home made tracking going in in picture lol

Look up British standard Or RAL colours and have a look see what is close ,looks very marina like colour My GT is the same colour but was sun faded and painted them black

it's not the same stuff as normal 2k it has a latex in it and covered my blue panels in two light coats ,nothings faded a year on in bright sun what colour do you need I can get it made up and sent to you from the place in I use As for poor coverage most colours need a value shade to get it to cover better But as said above that place does sell thinned out paint

I painted my panels /back seat and roof lining with the stuff the paint lorry curtains with any ral colour can be made Pics in my thread good stuff much better than vynilcoat I've used that in the past

Cheers mate Did a bit more on the front wing build it up more with weld straighten it up better Cut welded bonnet edge to match wings today started putting in type 49 strengthening kit finish that then seam weld shell then on to axle Weathers warming up so be back on the gt want it painted this summer couple of weeks be in paint

Id go with a finger file belt sander Less area to disturb Can start with 36 grit move up to 80 to finish Don't sit on the roller to grind and buy 3m belts
