after going to stratford this year i did like the mk1,s and this mk1 is solid and just needs paint and a boot lid.was thinking cage and a bit of a track look but there did seem alot more mk1s than the mk2s? as for my car ive just come back from newquay in it,it did 700 miles round trip and ran faultless and everywhere i parked it someone always spoke to me about it or took a pic. but thats due to every one having one once in there lives(old buggers lol) just unsure what to do? the car is ready for paint and has no badges and fully stripped out so he,s lookin for paper work this week its been sat (dry) for about 12 months in this way it is a more door which is putting a spanner in the works a little?

been offered a mk1 but would have to sacrifice it for the mk2.the mk1 needs abit of work but all the parts are there dont know what to do?cant have both not sure what to do i like the mk1 and is a blank canvas at the mo, help?
