might of been on bent plates as they were a very dodgey familey i remember it having pinstripe seats 1t was around 1988 and they never taxed or moted the car from what i remember and they used to thrash the crap out of it.

my brother is looking for a cortina mk4/5 must be taxed and moted £1000 cash to spend or can swap with his 1999 bmw e46 let me know what you have thanks gaz

hi getting car ready for mot most of the welding done now but most of the bushes look shot but carnt think of the proper name for this bush looks like lower suspension bush but not sure trying to find them on fleebay pic to follow showing my finger on the ripped bush.

how do i stand taking the cortina to mot with no tax or mot but is insured will it be ok to do so or will the law take the car off me if im caught driving it at the end of the day the insurance is not valid with no mot isit or am i wrong.

i was 12 or 13 in 1988 and the car had no tax then they were shady pepole so was prob reg as a i.6 and it was red.

is there many mk4 2.0s left on the road i would love to own one as when i was a child 13 years old my mates dad had a 2.0s i think the reg was TAK803S they were from dudley and used to race the car about i remember it being red and had black and white pinstripe seats no tax mot ect you could not get away with that now a days.

yes its a gl the rot was hidden ie sill joining floor the boot and n/s/r top inside wheel arch front inner wings.
