Can anyone please tell me or show me the position of the flasher unit - I've got all the books and the Ford Workshop manual but I simply can't see the thing! Please help - I'm totally stuck! Mike

Can anyone tell me the number of revs/minute the Mk2 series2 1600e engine should be turning at when running at, say, 30mph in top gear? I can't find this info. anywhere and my car shows about 3000rpm at this speed, and at much over 60 mph the engine sounds to be runnng very fast. Were there different gearboxes available for the cortinas? Or should I cover up the rev. counter and wear ear plugs?
