Having acquired my dads 1980 Mk5 Cortina 1.6 GL the rear seats seem to have been removed and my mum has no idea where they are. Dad passed away in 2009 so we have no idea where he would have stored them so looking for blue rear seats for it

Been a while since i went in to have a look at my Mk5 , thought id try to get her moved to a secure location, only one problem, i cannot get the steering lock off. The key goes in but will not turn to get the steering lock off. . I tried a few harsh movements with the steering wheel whilst trying to turn the key but to no avail. I had to pull her out of my garage and literally drag the car around with steel chains wrapped around the wheels and pull her with my Discovery to get her lined up with my newer secure garage. Any ideas how to undo the steering lock without having to damage it? I gave it a good squirt of penetrating oil down the keyhole and hope that may release it but any ideas will be appreciated

Have a word with X Pressed Steel panels, i tool a complete sunroof panel for them to take a pattern from it, They said they would not be able to do the whole sunroof but the metal panel he would be able to do.

Hi Craig yes he said it had the front valance changed at some point, and i asked him about the wheels as they should have been the L rims not the sports road wheels, although they were an optional extra on the Base and L models, Kevin said he put the sports road wheels on himself

Went for a ride the other week along the sea front in Ayr when i spotted this parked up. A nice base model in the Cordoba Beige if i remember rightly, so i sat for an hour waiting for the owner to turn up. Turns out the owner lives in the next village to me and the car was featured in Practical Classics in 2017

Nope they were never diamond cut, plus those rear badges have been off at some point and not put back on correctly, and where is the Ford Badge on the right hand side of the boot lid?
