  1. I 5hink its only a little repair needed
  2. I'll post a picture of mine and see what you think compared to yours
  3. Waiting till the fairer weather gets here. Workshop is full of cars. I done a few jobs to it... Rear wheel cylinders Sorted rear lights out Sorted dash lights out Done drivers door lock Sorted front lights out Replaced exhaust manifold Changed plugs, leads, cap, has electronic ignition Changed tyres Replaced passenger door hinge Got a few more left yet
  4. Yeah the o/s scuttle is one of the bits needing welding. I've had a look over it and it needs the rear sills doing, a bit behind the headlights, top of the wing rail and where the boot striker plate is. So nothing major. The bonus is its not been bodged up apart from the scuttle
  5. Got the shroud today. Cheers mate. Great service 👍
  6. It will be my new daily driver. My Humber Hawk head gasket has just gone and since parked up a month its decided to evict all its auto gearbox fluid on the floor
  7. If I can find a 1.6 5 speed I'll fit one in this
  8. The Mk2 has a Saab 2.3 turbo in it. The Mk5 will be my daily driver. I'll have ot MOT'd next year. Yours looks a nice car
  9. I'm going to try progress the Mk2 a bit next year
  10. For those who can remember this is my Mk2
  11. I haven't been here for a lot of year's and thought it would be cheeky to drop in and buy a part then disappear again. Those who can remember me I done a brave restoration on a Mk2 years ago. I still have it and it's ready for painting. One day I'll do it. I'll post up the link. I recently bought a Mk5 of eBay that will be my daily. I hate modern cars 😆 I'll post up a few more later on. It does need some work... a few bits of welding but basically a good service, brakes sorting and a damn good tidy up.
