I'm looking to put a sports type steering wheel on my mk 3 2000E, saw a nice one at NEC on Mountney stand, however they do a boss for the mk 2 Cortina but don't list the mk 3, does anyone know if it is the same ? Alternatively any suggestions for a retro sports type steering wheel for a 76 mk 3 ?

Does anyone have a picture of the bracket as have found someone prepared to knock up a set ??
-
I'm in for a pair, just need 9 more

I guessed it may be a toughy !! That would be great, I've been speaking to Mark on here who lives round the corner from me & he has suggested a local engineering firm to us that could knock some up, could you let me or Mark know if you do have one & we can get the ball rolling, if easier my mob number is 07776 295092.

Thanks for your replies guys, might stick with the 6 x 13 Mexico steels idea then, or may just leave as is with standard rims as it does drive so well, just really liked the look of the NEC GT on these with 185/60/13's, I'm sure he said it was 2" lower with no issues !

Does anyone have any mk 3 Cortina above bumper spot lamp brackets, looking for a pair or even 1 so we can get them remanufactured ?
-
Right, I am considering a set of 2" lowering springs from Burtons and would like a wheel to fill the arch without looking ott, I loved the look of Mark's blue GT at the NEC which was on Mexico steels with 185/60/13's, do you know what size i.e. 6x13 or 7x13 minilites would be best and what offset to achieve this subtle look, a good friend of mine on here may know of some 6x13 mexico steels but would like to look at the minilite option also, this is for my 76 2000E. Do any of you have any pics of mk 3's with this set up you would be kind enough to post please ?. Many thanks.

I've used a company called "top of the clocks", never had fading issues and he will put correct area post office stamp on for you, his name is Clive so give it a google !!

Anyone got a pair of mk3 facelift model above bumper spotlight brackets ??
-
Think that's the stuff Dave uses on his RS2000, will give it a go !!

What's the best stuff to use to bring a vinyl roof back to life ? A friend of mine has a mk 2 RS2000 with a black vinyl roof and swears by bumper black gel or back to black, would this not be a bit greasy or does it soak in ? Any recommendations ??

Originally registered in Gloucestershire, that's the only light I can shine !

John, I'll see if I can get any more info as the dealer principle for this garage is a mate of mine !!
