  1. yes it will, standard fit on the later p6's,earlier p6's had the type35. zf 4speed can also be made to fit as well using range rover parts but you probably need some ally welding to make the zf happen, worth it though. craig oops re-reading you mean will the box fit the car
  2. vacuum or breather pipes mixed up? purely a guess but i seem to remember these having slight vacuum in the rocker covers anyway. craig
  3. by the sound of that the valve is the wrong way round, the servo doesn't pump anything, the vacuum from the inlet draws air out from the servo.. craig
  4. can i have the clocks please? thanks craig
  5. as said the rovers main advantage is its weight. 2wd boxes are getting hard to find now & the autos from cars where only 3 speed but you can easily fit the zf 4 speed auto to it. craig

  9. your local exhaust fitters should be able to match one, maybe not kwik-fit but the independant sort craig
  10. i'm not sure what order they did it but castor, camber and toe was checked at the same time, all the bushes have been changed apart from the subframe to body but these looked ok (and i didnt have any) craig
  11. hi all, are the top front arms handed on the mk5? reason for asking is on my estate the handling isn't up to much, doesnt turn in very well and dosnt have much self centering on the steering. i've just put new bushes in all round and had the tracking checked but when i parked with it on full lock there seems to be a lot of camber change on the outer wheel(i.e the drivers side when turning left) just thinking what may cause this ta craig
  12. sorry to jump in but what granada are you trying to sell? craig
  13. p'md sheffield cortina center, so i'm best going for an internal tank? is it a case of cutting the pump unit out of a sierra then remounting it to my tank then? or would there be an easier pump to use? craig
  14. over the next few weeks going to be fitting a sierra twin cam and mt75 to my mk5, i've got most of the bits for it but whats my best/easiest options for the fuel pump? in the tank or next to it? what have others done please thanks craig
