  1. [quote name= 'cortina-city' timestamp=1382881595' post='516962] ill miss welding. nothing to weld or braze now! i was suprised to find i like body filling and sanding too! got a great air sander and all the kit, its all going to be put away into stores soon as the garage reverts back to my games room Personally Pete I think is more to do with making something for yourself and being able to look at it and say I made that or I done that myself, not just to say I bought that. Great work pal  Ps GAMES ROOM?? you may move that all upstairs now ffs there's no room with all the cars that need a home.. ;)
  2. Practice makes perfect (and Pete you've had plenty of practice in the last 2 years) its the only way to learn is to try and do the things..
  3. OCD OCD OCD OCD :winner:   ffs Pete the wife will be thinking your up to something with the smile on your face lol..
  4. WOW just WOW!!! GREAT WORK SIR
  5. Now the hardest part is to walk away and let it setup. Ps cover every hole and everything that you don't want painted that s**t gets everywere. looks good
  6. By the time the underside is finished the repair sections will hardly be noticeable, be happy with your work the transformation in the shell form day 1 is first class, even the most talented metal worker would have a hard job making a repair patch become invisible (without the need for fillers). Great work Pete ive seen worse lol..
  7. Pete the GRAVITEX is real good gear will cover up most of the welding/patches (BIT OF ADVICE **DONT** PUT ON TO HEAVY OF A SINGLE COAT BUILD UP THE LAYERS ALLOWING APP TIME BETWEEN IF IT GO'S ON TO THICK IT TAKES TIME TO EVAPORATE AND COULD CAUSE CRACKING DOWN THE LINE) :gun: :microwave:
