Now get the thinking cap on Pete and work out how to do the conversion on a digital version. Is there no way you could get relays to control/replace the action of the micro switches. Ideas on paper please Just when you get a spare minute (so I'm guessing May time) 👍 And I heard a cheeky little number from George Michael in there 👍🍺

Like ANY finishing the SMOOTHER less SCRATCHED the surface is before polishing the BRIGHTER the shine will be  And not just any lacquer http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574629005&toolid=10001&campid=5335900709&customid=&mpre=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AEROSOl-1K-CLEAR-ETCH-LACQUER-GLOSS-1K-ALUMINIUM-CLEAR-COAT-ALLOY-WHEEL-PAINT-/180860877088

YOU can get different textures by adjusting the AIR PRESSURE on the gun (but your painter will know what to do

YOUR GONNA have to advice the bodyshop WHAT you want PETER, and put your trust in them. After all there the pro's. And stop stressing out!!

Look good Mark modern twist to an old unit, look like they fit nice

Lines and gaps look good (she's going to be straight)
-
Yes Stoneguard Pete.. Don't know about earlier models but it was on later FORDS And the painter will know how to blend it in or where to stop it (usually just under body lines)

need to check the BALLAST RESISTOR & WIRING TO AND FROM

Yes so there's 12v at coil so it getting its feed. ANDY said it starts if he gives it a squirt in the filter box so either weak coil giving weak spark or low fuel pressure not allowing enough fuel into the cylinder. Good luck Andy.
-
On the primary side of the coil it always going to be BATTERY voltage which is going to tell you nothing only the condition of the battery, If your are trying to fault find a problem you need to check the coil for ( resistance ) THAT WILL TELL you if the coil is operating or not...
-
9 or 12v on cranking?? the purpose of the coil is to give higher voltage on cranking 30-40k volt momentary inline with points opening :headscratch:

It all depends on what you want from the car do you want it original if so you have to think of the amount of parts need replacing ie Fibreglass wing, other body panels and the actual cost of all these things. Also as Mark said its being forsale a few times and no one wants to stump up 1300 for it??

Wasn't there something the same about the Bugatti Veyron they needed a GREAT amount of EXTRA power to get from 200-220 (cant remember exact figures) :headscratch:
-
Looks like your going to have to look at the fuel system, maybe give the carb a service/clean, fuel pump check over.. Make sure there's no holes in the breather system.

A good honest review  Good luck with the sale.

Cheers pal, was sort of thinking could a relay not control the BUTTON action rather that switchs? :headscratch:

Hi Mr Cortina-City. Do you think it would be possible to do the radio conversion on the later model Ford radio (the late 80s/90s spec ie any ideas about what way you could do the switches internally Regards Kenny
