the series 2 is 3/16 of a inch taller so as dave says if its in the car now its the right screen

WELL IF ITS IN its in doubt its the wrong one , finding a good fitting screen rubber is a minefield though

afternoon chaps got a 1968 series1 1600e but do not have any history on it how can i tell if it has the correct screen in it as the rubbers are cracked and need replacing is there any markings ? best place for rubbers

Hi guys, i have a series 1 cortina 1600e that should have a 32dfm cab ,it has a 32dgv carb on at the moment,i'm finding it hard getting an airfilter for it ,but i have a 32dif4 carb,can i fit that?all the carbs are weber twin choke

hi,i bought this air filter years ago for my 1600e,i never fitted it kept the k&n on it,anyway im not sure it is off the cortina now maybe capri or esort deffo late 60s/early 70s being its metal,it fits on a twin choke type carb but cant find any info on it,just its a AC DELCO type,need too remember now how too upload photos .

Afternoon all hope everyone's well,having just bought my first series1 1600E Cortina I have found that the dash has many rips so I'm looking for a replacement if anyone knows of one for sale or can put me in the direction of a repairer or trimmer
