  1. no, no bites, i have 4 different accelerator pedals, all from crossflows, who knew there were so many!! each one has a combination of angle of the rod where the pedal attaches and where it comes out of the bulkhead, i may need to put them in the parts id section. i may need to cut and weld one up....
  2. looking to undo the mods i made to KRX 643D 1300 pre crossflow, looking for a pre crossflow accelerator pedal, doesn't need to have the plastic pad. i have a couple of what look to be crossflow ones so could swap
  3. Looking for a pair of mk2 cortina front wheel hubs. Not bothered about discs or wheel nuts, only require hubs with studs and if the bearings are decent that would be a bonus. Also a pair of anti roll bar mounts for mk2.
  4. hi Allan, if you accept cheques, i am looking for 3 pair. i have a 16E series 1, a lotus series 1 and a very early 2 dr series 1 that i want to modify. i can get a cheque in the post tomorrow if you send your address and who the cheque is made out to.

  5. looking for the following parts, for the front steering/suspension: 1 x N/S lower steering arm - C shaped arm 1 x O/S lower steering arm 6 No. bolts to hold above on, or someone to tell my what size i need! 2 x front anti roll bar brackets thanks in advance.
  6. not hard to imagine what will happen to it.... bit of a vicious circle, the cars are rare, everyone and their dog wants one, prices kept artifically high, incomplete ex race cars and projects require parts, people willing to pay through the nose for parts, prices keep artifically high ad infinitum
  7. looking for a mk2 cortina carpet, in black, just needs to be presentable, to fit a series 2, even just the front piece.
  8. for those that don't know what "tunnocks" are, they make Caramel wafers by the zillion load per week and tea cakes...mmmmm...in jolly jock land, or Uddingston to be precise. so no inuendos here please!!
  9. runs speakeasies and illicit stills....
  10. looks like a good 'un! yes everybody should read the article regarding L blocks, there are not always what people think they are!
  11. i'd be tempted by a full set of green tinted glass for a mk2....
  12. looks the ., although i wouldn't want to try the recliner....
  13. i have a '66 de luxe that was fitted with one, screws still in place, panel was ripped and tatty so was binned many years ago
  14. the original chrome trim effect rings were vaccum plated, there are companies who still do this. the easy way to strip them is by using Mr Muscle oven cleaner in a sealed plastic box, takes the thin layer of "chrome" off cleanly.
  15. 750,000 made, which was more than the entire production run at Rover, variations also fitted to Olds.
