So it wouldnt be out of the ordinary to make make spacer blocks of say 45-50mm between mounting plate and body location?

Mangler yes I have a Sierra new one and a cortina old one which there is a difference of around 5 to 8 mm but that is still not enough

Puzzled its like the tail end needs to go up a further inch and half which would mean tunnel mods not what I wanted to do I know this been done quite a few times before Just thought it might be something silly I have missed I could make spacers just not sure if I should be I have 2.9 cologne in my other car with a type nine same x member and that fits flush to mounting feet no problem there was no tunnel mods I know of with that!

Hi guys after some help Just fitted 2.0 pinto and type 9 box in the car it was originally auto so I have auto cross member I cant seem to get the cross member to bolt up to the mounts gearbox is tight up to the tunnel gearstick end and I am about inch and half or so out from bolting the member on it all lines I am missing sometging? Cheers
