  1. Hi What size tyres for wolf race 5.5x13 , Car will be lowered 1" Thanks
  2. Hi, Mk3 gt, should there be a gasket between the master cylinder and servo? Thanks John
  3. All sorted, massive thanks to @sheffieldcortinacenter. Inhibitor relay is on drivers side wing. The 2 black wires need bridging, the loom disconnects from the main loom allowing you to loop it out, pics to follow
  4. Oh and the trigger for the starter off the back of the alternator wiring... does it normally go back to the bulkead and along or forward to the rad.. across then back?
  5. Nearing completion converting my auto to manual type 9 conversion, Just got clutch cable hole in the bulhead and wiring to do... But kinda come a bit unstuck and the haynes manual doesn't seem to cover 2l GT Fitted a new starter which is now passenger side, thick positive cable is obvious but there also the trigger cable and the cold start... not sure if it's used... Off the back of the alternator there's 2 cables... but I'm sure only one was on the back of the auto starter... guessing trigger and cold start.. and ideas which is which? And what to do with cold start if I'm not using it... I'm assuming I've got a 12v coil now but dunno how to check. Auto inhibitor/reverse light plug.. which wires are for revers for the type 9 box? The other ones... do the need bridging or kept apart? Is this the inhibitor relay? Does it need removing? Or reconfiguring?

  9. yup i know, just dont know how they can knock the sportex out for half the price of the ashley, emailed maniflow for a quote.... but unfortunaly the pas hose on my mondeo has just spectacularly ruptured so might just have to bodge the old manfold downpipe back together till i get that sorted..... bloody cards :( any ideas why I cant get the downpipe to manifold to seal? ive tried 2 new steel rings, with and without fire putty?
  10. Hi, I take the free flowing manifolds long gone? I have a 2.0 gt one I want to swap for janspeed/Ashley style
  11. Yup, but I don't think they're worth 220 when you can get a sportex Capri one for 120, missed out on a 2nd hand one for 70 the other week , Cheers J
