Cheers baz, sorry to be a pain, I didn't explained myself well, I want to put a immobiliser on so could use the coil wire. But I also wanna do away with the ignition barrel and use a push button start button and a ignition kill switch or a key kill switch. Don't suppose you could help with the rest of the ignition wiring colours / powers Cheers again for your help so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers for the heads up on the gearbox and oil, I would of been mighty peeved to find that out after every thing was fitted I'm gonna use up what I have in the garage to clear out some c£ap hence not using a later engine and box. Anyone know about cables and peddle box mods? and what prop to use?? Cheers Steve
-
Right I'm gonna do it - Pinto in a Mk2 Cortina Ill be using a Mk3 cortina pinto with twin choke Weber and a 4 speed type E single rail Gearbox I have most of the parts I need now to at least make good headway, modified sump as in retaining the steering box, exhaust manifold etc etc Not too sure if I'm going to try and keep the standard hydraulic clutch or modify the peddle box for cable yet If I go down the cable route - anyone know what clutch cable and what accelerator cables best to go for? And any pictures of pedal box modifications and bulk head mods done to accept the cables Does the original speedo cable fit or do I need another one? If so what one do I use What prop would I have to use?? As soon as I can sort out in my head what I'm doing cable wise then I can start the job Cheers Steve
