Watches the vid a few times , I myself love to know the set up too on the interceptors. As I like to build a rep of the Kreepy Krawley race cortina

I was speaking to a guy today who runs his own bodyshop and he said he restored a 4 door mk5 1.3 L and said its very rare. Was wondering if anybody else has heard of one ? He went on and told me that two women owned it and inherited it from their father . It was in a bad way,there was a lot of rot and the previous bodyshop started the work and cut it up and left the panels inside the car they then turned around to the women and said they were not interested in doing the job . That's when this guy took the job on .

Thats ture because I brought a door for my saloon many years ago and didn't fit Bortaf said its a late P100 so I kept hold of it then I brought a P100 and fitted it to that.. so a very rare door all for £15

Also the doors are rounded and not angled on the top closest to the screen

Funny enough I've just come back home from a night on the . and my halfords car cover covering the XR has ripped and flapping around from all this wind we're having. The car been in the garage all summer till now, it had to make way for all the crap I pulled out of my other house . This is not a bad idea and may do this .

Yeah we like P100s restos ...... come on get your finger out and restore this one back to its former glory and be apart of the POC PS Whats the reg number ? I dont think I got this one .

Have you the reg plate ? for my collection I don't think I got this one.

Keep it to its original colour beige, I think so in keeping with the period

Not sure I think the axle is the same to a xr set up with the shock and trailing arms in a different position making the rear box position in an upright position on its side , botof will know!

That seams so far away... 7 years ! will the crayford be done ? will my P100 be resto, will grahams lotus be finished, How many mk3s would Pete rebuild by then ????

Haven't got them on mine Tony but then again I got nothing holding the battery in place but the leads . However there are a few holes in the back end of the tray for them to hook into but none at the front :unsure:

Are the fuel sender unit on a cortina version the same as a sierra p100 ? . Or are the units the same as saloon models ?. I'm looking to fit a v6 with a weber which has a fuel return pipe similar to my XR , but the fuel sender unit only has an outlet pipe and no return pipe .

I had a sunroof on my mk5 and was told not to weld it up because of distortion , instead I had a donor car which I unpick the welds on the lid and welded it on the solid one

I tried dying a carpet once it didn't turn out well at all . Tony ! I have a rubber mat in mine but its worn and split . So I maybe looking for a carpet too , it maybe cost effective if trimmer will do two are more and then we could split the cost . Failing that then looking for a good second hand carpet is the best option . I did buy a black off the peg carpet at a Battlesbridge show for £120 for the XR its ok not brilliant and short in places . With a original you get the carpet moulded around the wheel tubs you'll wont get that if you made one yourself . I might just not bother with carpet and have a couple of steel plates tastily made up and welded to the floor .

Its not , with trying to get the house finished and sold just haven't to time ,but when I have a half hour or so I'll will do something , at the moment cleaning the fuel tank and painting it, also I have a good bench seat (cloth) which i had professionally cleaned which has come up a treat .

Tony , I've noticed on mine the fuel tank brackets (shown in photo) has a rubber pad that goes between the bracket and tank to stop vibration and wear . Just giving you the heads up on that unless you already know that.:thumbup:

As said above . I have seen Sierra bed on a cortina shaped P100 and I agree doesn't look right , I'm sure modifying it to look like a cortina one is your best better . Please post pics up we love em .

I agree with lowtina sealed bids have a starting price and a finish date, giving people who are interested time to look over it and bid .

Hi Gav, how wide is the top plane ? .I have one on my XR which has started to pit and needs replacing. I also have a new Ford one but I have notice that the top plane is narrower the what I got on the XR. Could you measure it for me ? If its right then I'll be interested.
