This is the only picture I can find, (not really a lot of help), from what I can remember the bolt was as said with a hook on the end that hooked through a hole in the battery tray. The problem I had was the battery not fitting into the other end of the tray and I think I raise it up so it would fit in properly.
I had to take some pictures for the insurance valuation so I thought I would share them on here, doesn't look to shabby after sitting in the garage for so long.
Thanks Brett, no the Rancho is still sat next to the Cortina un-restored, just been a lack of interest and other things going on.

After nearly 2 years sat in the garage I thought I would get one of these today, it went straight through. :winner:
Also taxed it as well, but as you know there is nothing to show for that, just need to give it a good wash and drive it. :thumbup:
You don't need to undo those bolts from above Graham, they attach to a bracket which then bolts to the chassis which you can access from underneath. (see picture).
