Hi All, I know it's not technically not a cortina part, but I have a solar port pop up sunroof on a mk4. I also put a post on a Cortina FB page, i got a couple of responses from guys who said they sunroofs / handles, but would not reply to my messages, so I am assuming there is a spare one out there! I need a handle, but might take a whole sunroof if necessary. Any one got one or know where I might get? I have been keeping an eye on eBay and Bristol sunroofs don't have anything.

Sonic cleaning for brake master cyl or replace?
clogher replied to clogher's topic in Suspension, Steering, & Brakes
I did call by the stand yesterday!😊, but you were not there I was talking to a nice chap, Peter. I bought a Brake master cyl from John JCL, expensive, but it is a girling one, so should be ok. -

Hi All Mk4 cortina with a girling Mas cyl, don't have the car very long, changed wheel cyls that were filthy , could not bleed brakes, took off mas cyl and it was filthy also, was nearly like water that was in it. I was wondering about getting it sonic cleaned, would that be a good idea ? and get seals for it or should I just buy one of the £45 ones. I do read in a post below about a company that posters have used to refurbish them, i am not in the UK, so it would work out very expensive for me and I am on a budget. Other thing is I am going to the NEC next weekend , I have looked through the list of exhibitors and none pop out to me that might have a seal kit or a budget price Mas cyl, that I could call and they could bring/hold one for me at the NEC. Also mine has a seal between cylinder and servo, any manual I have or any pics on line of cylinders don't show a seal, i assume it should be there? Any thoughts on above?
