Just took the cable off the sender and touched body - gauge moved to top.

Fuel gauge works fine Craig Got a new sender from Burtons so I assume it is correct for my engine - no not tested??

Yes I have a thermostat - recently new with the sensor, points, plugs etc. How do I check this? Never considered the thermo?? Do you think this is a genuine fix? Thank you 👍

Hi all, Having a long ongoing issue with my temp gauge. I have a 3.0 MK3 and the temp gauge don’t work? Yet, if I earth it the gauge works fine. I have changed the sender three times but the issue remains. Both work fine, but when I connect them nothing works. Im no mechanic so please don’t blind me with science. Any ideas please???? Tony

Hello all, Are there any recommendations for a garage in Essex / East London who can help sort my Weber Carb? Engine will not idol? Starts and rev’s with no issues - soon as you stop the throttle it conks out. Probably a blocked jet or just needs tuning. Thanks, Tony

Hello, The seats in my Cortina are the wrong colour for my interior - they are more or less white and I want them to be beige. So, are they vinyl or leather?? Either way, can these be treated / dyed to the colour of my choice? Also, will it last or run off on my cloths?? I just can’t afford to get them recovered so this is my only real option to sort this issue. Come on BSC help needed here please 🧐 Seat covers are making my teeth itch.

The rims were new from eBay - The hub caps were shipped over from SA and were blue. My good friend Paul took them and respirated them for me. Unfortunately they were too big for the rims so a local garage sorted the rims to take the larger hubs.

Had the wheels back today with original XLE hub caps. Had them sprayed to match.
