    Or you could try the tin-foil & WD40 thing on the chrome. I have done that on some rear m/cycle shocks and they have come up a treat.

    Not always the case. Rusty arm FL with hole for ARB, nice arm PFL. Both take the smaller 43mm bush, as opposed to the 50mm bush.

    Yes. PFL have a bolt going into a clamp which holds the spring in place. Cars with the ARB arms, don't have a bolt and the spring just sits there. See pic below. PFL is nearest the camera.

    Just measured an arm for you. Front ARB hole is 183mm from front arm hole & 34mm up from lower edge of arm. Next ARB hole is 213mm from first ARB hole & 22mm up from lower edge. Rear ARB hole is 60mm from rear arm hole. The downside to drilling an early arm, is that you will have to remove the ARB to gain access to the bolts that hold the rear springs in place. So i would look for a set of ARB lower arms.

    To add to the above. I would change all the bushes on the front ARB and the 2 rubbers that hold down the steering rack to poly.

    The only bolts i would use thread lock on would be the clutch ones. 14-17lbs.

    Hi, are these the pipes you are after ? They are both Motorcraft and both have an OD of 23mm and an ID of 15mm. £20 for the 2 posted or £15 for one posted.

    Very much this. If you are leaving just water in there, all you create is more rust.

    Also use some exhaust sealant when joining the 2 pipes.

    Cant read that. If the gear stick is held in place by 3 bolts, i would say it is a type 9.
