I like your flying Tina :) This is my biggest fear, the unseen rust spots. This time me, next time you ;) I remember driving for Mk1 Ford Capri more than 200km one day, just to see it passing me by 2km from the destination with the happy new owner (seller ensured me 5 times I can come to see it and that the car will be waiting for me).

I love the dashboard and round headlights of the per-facelift. Colour must be the same, I don't know if there is any better one ;)

Yeah, plenty of work. I already have sills and rear arches, but I would be interested in under the window panel couse mine is in bits, do they have the website?

If I decide to restore it I'd like to do proper one, body sanded, welded and painted. If not I'll put on sale and focus on smaller project, all depends on my mechanic and guy who is doing bodywork. Im also busy man so dont know yet, if I'll have a time to take care of that beauty. Yeah I saw that all right, the condition of that one is amazing though. Same color, love that brown :)

Hi Cortina fans, got mine 2door beauty just recently (2.0GT, manual). Its a rusty bucket so needs a lot of work but there is still a lot to weld into. Im not a mechanic myself so waiting with a quotation to bring it to prestine condition. From what I noticed its pretty rare model, feeling kinda lucky. Greatings from Ireland.
