Hi folks

I have rebuild my original 1500 front struts with the mecanical damper inserts. I took them apart cleaned everything and reassembled them again. So I need to know what kind of oil, Viscosity and quantity of oil I have to use for refilling the front struts. For what exactly is the little screw at the outside of the front strut? Is there a relation to the inserts ?

Hi 

I have question about  your answer above about the lotus Spring 11.75" x95x5.25    What these numbers stay for exactly? I'm from Switzerland, so sorry for my question.

I have a cortina 1500 Mk1  witch I lowered the rear by 2 inch Alu block and a set of GT rear leaf spring. So that spring you metioned should level out the car ?

Where do I get a set of front strut springs like that?
