  1. Hi all, I'm selling an absolutely mint 1973 handbook and optional extras brochures on Ebay if anyone is interested: Vintage Ford Cortina Mk3 owners handbook and accessories brochure October 1973 | eBay Cheers, Neil
  2. Hi all, If you enjoy reading about Cortinas as well as playing with them, you might be interested in this Ebay listing - I'm selling a bunch of articles from various classic car magazines on Cortinas and Granadas. The list of articles is in the description: 29 classic car magazine articles: Ford Granada and Cortina, 1960s to 1970s | eBay (I'm also selling a collection of articles about various Fords of the 50s and 60s) Cheers, Neil
  3. Hi Cortinadale, it was both of the offside ones I was after, front and back, but I'll gladly take the offside rear end cap off you. Do you want to drop me a PM with price and I'll let you know the address? Thanks!
  4. Thanks Aaj389 - PM sent
  5. OK thanks anyway Craig. Cheers RT1006, I'll get in touch with them.
  6. Hi Craig, any luck? Cheers, Neil
  7. Hi all, Would anyone have good condition end caps for both offside front and rear - with the bits that slot into the wing clips intact? Those bits on both of mine have snapped and the front one fell off the other day and was lost (I blame Sheffield's potholes). Thanks, Neil
  8. Thanks Craig - I'll PM you shortly
  9. OK thanks for checking Craig. Still looking then. Thanks Danish - I initially tried Chemical Metal, and when that failed, I soldered it, and it lasted a while. I did wonder if brazing it might last better. But it probably just needs someone with better soldering skills than I have! So I'd like to fix the one that's on now, but keep it as a spare for one that hasn't ever come adrift.
  10. Thanks Craig. If you have one and can part with it, I'll take it.
  11. Hi all, Does anyone have a new or good condition used sender they could let me have please? One of the pipes on mine has come loose AGAIN (drip drip) and I think I need to just use it as a spare. Thanks Neil
  12. Hi all, I'm after a new master cylinder. The fitted one is a Girling (on the body: 74660294 0 Q180) with a red tag (66197 01/38 62 12KP). Anyone got one they're willing to part with? Cheers, Neil
  13. Thanks CortinaLover - it'll be a while before I can get round to dropping the tank, so it might be the summer before I know one way or another. Neil
  14. Ah that's a good idea! I'll give that a go before leaping to fit a new one. Thanks Bortaf! Neil
  15. Hi all, I'm after a replacement fuel sender unit - one of the pipes on mine has become loose and wobbly, so is leaking petrol a bit where it passes through the body of the sender unit. Not a lot, but I don't want to leave it. Tried a Chemical Metal bodge but it didn't last very long. Does anyone have a good condition unit they could let me have please? Preferably one with little rust, because I think that's what's done for this one. I've got a new-ish seal, having replaced the tank only a year ago. Thanks! Neil
  16. Thanks Craig. PM me your details and I'll get a cheque off (or bank details if you want a transfer). Cheers, Neil
  17. Hi all, I've got a driver's door flopping about all over the place, which I can lift due to movement in the lower hinge. I can't for the life of me get the pin out, so I'm throwing in the towel. Does anyone have a good condition lower driver's side hinge they could sell me please? Thanks, Neil
  18. Hi, I'm after a new (rather than second hand) rad for my Mk5 2.0l Ghia (manual) - the bottom corner went the other day with hilarious results. If anyone has the relevant hoses too - I might as well replace the lot, including to & from the heater - that would be fantastic. I did see one on Ebay but it had a plastic top & bottom. Is that better or not I wonder? Cheers, Neil
  19. Indeed, here are some pics of mine. It's red. Very red... http://buysellcortina.co.uk/forums/index.p...mp;#entry205359
  20. Hi there, While fiddling with my clutch pedal ratchet I tapped the stop light switch and it dropped off! The plastic thread has sheered where it goes through the metal bracket. Does anyone have a replacement they could let me have asap please? I was planning to go somewhere in the car on Monday, and would rather not do it without working brake lights... Thanks in advance. Happy to paypal payment if that makes things any easier. Cheers, Neil
  21. Thanks for the offer Craig - and thanks CortinaPaul, you're a gent! :headscratch:
  22. Hi all, Somehow I've managed to lose the screw-on up/down black plasting knob for locking the door. Does anyone have a spare knocking around please? Thanks, Neil
