Craig, you are correct, that was Bob Haslams. I was talking to him about it when he arrived.

Looks great Jim

Superb work Greg  Having not been on the forum for a long time, after speaking to Jim at the weekend, he put me onto the thread. I actually met you and spent a long time chatting to you at The Performance Ford Show in Stafford in 1992 when you had ULN. I was a spotty 18 year old back then. I look forward to seeing this car progress. Tony

Lotus Cortina is now sold.

The back box on my Mk5 GLS is a Peco Big Bore from a Sierra, which was fitted in 2000. It was cut and shut (after the back axle) to suit the uprated Cortina Jetex system that Id previously put on my car. Although the back box is, in reflection, a bit too Saxo for my liking now, I have a slash cut Sierra XR4i back box that will replace it, which is much more understated in comparison.

The photos were taken at Dagenham. Simon Jones has a load of them on FB. Did anybody notice the silver Mk5 Crayford in the Perrys showroom on the video? The film was from very late 1981 or early 82

I could and when funds allow, Ill do it!

Wasnt that Lee's? Or am I mixing up my names?

I knew the car in the mid 90s. I got pics of it at Billing in 1996. It had a 2.0 EFi lump in it, Sierra Mk1 Ghia Chatsworth Interior, Sierra intermittent wipe/dash illumination controls and was on a set of 8 spoke 1990 Spec Sierra Ghia wheels. I think they guy that originally converted it was called Lawrence and was known within the Cortina Club

Mine was £40 in the box at Billing in 1996
