Thanks for the feedback peeps. does anyone know the proper ford paint code for stardust from this sort of era? think there may have been a few over the years, maybe with slight changes, as it seems to google image loads of mondeos etc. ta . john. :)

Thanks, any idea of a paint code for this, looked at a 1976 escort in stratos silver on google images an was a very similar colour. Worth a try??

Hi all, as can be seen from the (hopefully) uploaded pic i have a stardust silver mk3 2000e which i need to do some local cosmetic repairs to. the problem is although the origin of the paint is stardust silver, it has been resprayed in what seems to be a slightly lighter shade? i know this is a long shot but has anyone any ideas of a ford colour this could be? it is the same light blue/silver as stardust but a bit more silver?? on purchasing a touch up can of ford stardust silver from halfrauds, it was nothing like the old stardust silver!!. any ideas?? ta.

thanks, yes its lowered 50mm all round, but ive had to lift the back a bit coz the fouling the tyres on the arches with the slots on. Also has smaller tyres on the front. :clown:
