Hi all the red 16A fuse keeps blowing it renders my wipers inoperative although the screen wash still works and everything else on car seems ok.when i put in a new fuse wipers work fine when i go out for a drive around and i havent even touched my wipers when i try them they dont operate and fuse is blown and never blows when they are in operation so can anyone offer some advice where to look, Thanks.

Happy new year to all,am still looking for a nice mk4 or 5 cortina estate to use as daily car,but also need to sell my mk1 Granada saloon 1973 L Reg dark green in colour with brown interior,its a 3.0 GXL used to be auto but converted years ago properly to a manual,is a good very solid car with new MOT,can anyone help?? HI, THERE IS A CORTINA ESTATE FOR SALE IN PLYMOUTH THAT IS ON EBAY AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE LIVED FAIRLY CLOSE AND COULD VIEW THE CAR FOR ME? THERE IS A CRACK IN THE REAR PANEL THAT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN REAIRED WITH FILLER AN AS I AM TOO FAR AWAY TO LOOK MYSELF I WOULD HOPE SOMEONE ON HERE COULD TAKE A LOOK AND GIVE ME THEIR OPINION ON IT,THANKS.GARY.

the guy said he done a magnet test on it and there is only a small amount of filler in it,he said the rest of the car is good with only a few scabs here and there and a weld patch on the back of one of the sills, he has used the car as a daily for the past 7yrs and says its a solid car,yes its the one on ebay but down in plymouth so far from me but have been after an estate for a while and not found anything so getting a bit desperate.think he wants too much for it but don't blame him.

BETTER PIC OF THE FAULT,GUY SAYS THERE WAS A VERY SMALL HOLE THERE,IT IS FRUSTRATING AS I CANNOT GO AND SEE CAR IN THE FLESH BUT THERE SEEMS RATHER ALOT OF FILLER FOR MY LIKING,YOUR THOUGHTS.

Not been to see this car in the flesh just some pics sent to me and alarmed me a bit really.the car is 300 miles from me and have spoken to the bloke who seems genuine and honest so is this something not to be concerned about.

I am interested in buying this cortina estate but seems to have this kind of crack on top edge of rear quarter near rear door.can anybody suggest what has caused this,Thanks.

hi i am looking for a good cortina estate and noticed one for sale in rayleigh essex but too far for me to drive down from norfolk to view.i wondered if anyone on here locally could view the car on my behalf and let me know all about it? i have been messed around by sellers in the past and would trust the judgement of a fellow BSC member,many thanks.:)
