for sale you know the car and what she has had done she is now a solid car with no rust! if you want to have a good poke around her...not in a mechaphile way! ....yucky! then she will be at santa pod on bury retro ford stand and at yat. she is not perfect but she is in pretty good shape bodywise and mechanically. she has 12 months mot is tax exempt. she is in good original condition she is being sold as i want to see some progress on nelly our mk3 estate. have tried to put pics on from photo bucket but got this error up and have no idea how to do it. hi i've had a change of plan with my mk3 as i now have a set of tombstones for gbc. im selling her interior its near enough mint in the reddy brown colour. the drivers seat does have a small tear in it but the rest is in really good condition, interior includes front/rear seats door cards, carpet (does have couple small marks on.) and everything else which makes up a full interior will see if i have some pics of it for you. its the interior that has the map pockets near the feet at the front.

GORGEOUS!! what a view from out of your window we have something similar lol only they are not minters like yours!! have you got a mark3 esate then chris? if not why not?! collection not complete without one  and who does not like your cars? greeneyed monsters??? -
 lovely car. a lot of work gone into it and it shows so when its got its MOT will you be driving it daily? i would be making a start on my mk3 van shaped bubble suit if so!!! I'd be terrified of driving it on the road, people cut me up and swerve towards me when im driving crusty old Luci! work of art this car

picked up our spare half a car last night. bulkhead in excellent condition cost us £40 which was a bargain Andy also picked up a 2.3 v6 exhaust for £25. thanks to Dave in Norfolk (oldpartstore) so here it is... we have 5 and a half cars now! 3 and a half cortinas a sierra estate and a Celica! as you ca see bulkhead looks good. we even got a new front valence thrown in in case we wreck this one getting the cross member off. we will try document things as we go along

green donor car (hopefully!)

thanks for support guys! we should be picking spare car up today we came across it completely by accident, hopefully it will work out. so Luci will be tawny and green for a while! im hoping we can just cut that panel out of the other car, the floor pans are ok though we have had to weld them up a little the carpet was shredded and we had a new one made for her it was then we realised there was a leak. the heater box was siliconed as a quick bodge, im guessing, I think scrapping her was prob an over reaction but was just worried about the strength there would be left as we also have to remove and replace the front cross member. At least when its done i will know what she has had done...everything!! will see whats what when we have the other car (which is in excellent condition) cant believe its being broken! but i guess this time im glad as its helping luci stay on the road!

well the last picture shows how much we had to cut out till we got to solid car. its basically the ends! we want to keep the shape of the engine bay if we possibly can. cant believe ythis as she always seemed such a solid car to me just goes to show i guess. thanks for advice its all much appreciated!

started poking around Luci to prepare for spraying, and found a tin worm farm. need some advice from competent welders on best way to go about this, as we have limited experience with welding. if we cant do it Luci will be scapped. all because somebody didnt bother to repair a heater box properly! this is what we found...did i hear an offer of £60 for her before by the way?..... after all rust cut out we have managed to t up a front end from a guy who is scrapping a shell he is prepared to let us have the whole front of the car from door pillars forwards. we thought perhaps we could take that panel out and put it over the top? its quite solid at the ends we are also planning to take out the lower section at the front, not the slam panel as that is surprisingly solid. the front valence and the cross member i think it is. would this make the car unstable? any advice is much appreciated as im really worried that she is going to the scrapyard. Im glad we didnt sell her now i would have felt awful.
