yes, when throbnozzle racing built my engine & skimmed my head he shortened my push rods 977, 1200, 1300, pre-xflow engines, I would have thought used the same pushrods

Hi Tay14 I have a early mk2 Cortina and I sent my legs of to gaz shocks as you can no longer get the inserts for the early series1 cars I told gaz I was running 2inch lower springs. they said they will put a shorter stroke in the shock so my springs will not fall out when jacking car up, cost is £85 per leg mark

that pic is the type of pressure plate with the rounded thrush bearing that you need that pic from burton is for the 1.1 1.3 so yes you are right mark

check to see what rotor arm you've got in your dizzy top one is for motorcraft dizzy bottom one for lucas dizzy

you will need to measure you diff flange to see what one you're got as there are 3 different sizes The 86mm & 92mm are on the early cars Anglias Cortinas and MkI Escorts, the 109mm is on the MkII and is the same size as Atlas.

i had a look on Accuspark web site it looks like they do not do electronic ignition for Motorcraft distributor, but will do a lucas distributor with electronic ign fitted for the prexflow for £64.95

Inside the back of tacko you have a calibration dial which you can Adjust via the instrument light holder. Which you have to remove With a small screw driver adjust dial .you can use a Strobe light with a tacko reader would help To confirm correct revs Mark
