Thanks for the tip and i will definately be gettting the geometry and tracking done :thumbup: Does it matter what way the bushes are fitted to the tiebar,there is a smooth side and a rougher side on the bushes i have

So its the big nut, then the two bolts on the wishbone. Do i take the long bolt off that holds the anti roll bar and tie rod off or can i get away with that? Thankyou all for your help on this matter, i have never done these before and i dont want to make a hash of it

How could the bushes be replaced if i only take the big nut off? I thought the whole tiebar has to come off to change the bushes

Can anyone tell me whats involved in changing tie bar bushes on a mk4 and also whats the best bushes to use?

Mine was registered on 16/9/77 but the build date was June 77. Is it right that i wont get free tax until 2018 with the new rules?
