You wouldn't have a rear seat for a mk 2 2 door would you.

Looking at the 2 wires assume you are just using the motor and not the logic unit.If so I can only think of a couple of ways.Use an adjustable time control relay or fit a micro switch near the calipers which checks the tension.Am sure other ideas will be suggested but hope this helps.Have just read the thread and the work and ideas are stunning.Paul.

Looks a nice car Pete.Fond memories of these as my mum had a newish one in late 60's.Reg no was RGP 1E.She kept the plate for years when she had her own catering company and it was spaced to read RG PIE..Good luck with car.

fits no problem as long as you are using 2.8 I springs which are 50 mm wide.If using escort spring which are 60 mm wide you will have to make different triangle brackets..

Is there any way you can put a clear inline fuel filter between fuel pick up pipe and flexi fuel pipe at tank end.This way when car cuts out if filter is empty fuel tank is at fault if filter is full then pipe must be blocked/collapsing.
