  1. More nonsense. MightI just add that none of this would be possible without Mr.Tony Beowulf’s help. A legend in my eyes.
  2. I too have a mint set of front and rear seats from a 159 without the Alfa logo embroidered in. Pm if you are interested bud.
  3. Was great to meet you and your son, Greg. Looking forward to seeing the finished car.
  4. Welcome back Pete, cosmic !
  5. My God, this is awful news. Met Graham a few times, a top bloke. Sold me a near side rear door in good nick for £10 to help me out when I couldn’t find one. He even bought it down from Hull for me to collect locally. Really sad that another prominent member of the Cortina community has gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this sad time.
  6. Nice looking car is that.
  7. A mate of mine had a similar problem and after trying all the easy stuff first, it turned out to be a problem with the crank. 2.0 pinto.
  8. Ahhhhh, the hardship I put myself through for you..............
  9. Hmmm. You might have something there Mr. Tibbs. I might try some glue on it and see if it reacts, after all, it is solvent based. A good heads up that bud.
  10. Great stuff. Nice work and a very nice colour.
  11. After a flatting down, I decided to give I really thick coat of paint to give it some protection under the new vinyl roof. It seemed a shame after getting it nice a smooth to spoil the finish with a brush painted top coat, but to get the depth of paint, that’s what I did. I will flat it to give it a key before it goes off to get the roof done.
  12. There’s those two blokes again............
  13. Christmas paper from the pound shopped. All wrapped up.......
  14. This took ages to get it right. Not the most exciting job, but it needed doing.
