thats it bro just weld it up get a mot on it ebay it buy a good cheap triumph :headscratch: or have a mg montego turbo as it cost the same on insurance

about time you started to re-carnate chassis rail section as to much to buy new( :thumbdown: price ) i give you all my spare sheets to do the job and more,2x 2foot axle stands and all my panle G clamps so get on with it. :icecream: take photo's as you go along with the welding and post them up. :rofl:

seen it and sent email to find if he is up to offers,it in a right state but can be fixed up...would be a good start for wot im thinging in doing as a project. go on then whats your plan? Does it need to be a 16e for your project only other models are cheaper to buy? other models would ok but then it has to cheap for a project...im going try to fit a 2l turbo engine in and make it front wheel drive and smaller thats only an idea :unsure: your not lepo are you,sounds one intresting project,good luck could you not use sherpa gearbox go rwd, :) :unsure: :cheers: i have tons of maestro/montego parts and want to use them on the project as it will save tons of cash...i have a spare 2l montego turbo engine+a montego efi engine and to many cars and have this project to finish this was taken last year at a mg saloon day,lots and lots of great maestro+montego+metro turbo's

as above im wanting a mk2 1600e/project or will to swap for my 1986 mg montego turbo t&t for a quite good 16ooe

i keep a watch for it on ebay. as for that£1400 price :rofl: for trying. not worth that price with no mot and it not a gt-1600e. good luck with the sale

well this one is getting worked on as it was in need of welding,im getting there thow.very very quick as its been boosted up on turbo. theres not many turbo around now,i think about 50/60 still left but i know 29 are on the road from the owners club im with
