hi thanks just looking at same thing in haynes manual but nothing that suggests whats wrong i cant see any where that i have gone wrong.

Hi the pedal is sitting lower than normal. forgot to say i have also bled the clutch too.

Hi all hope someone has an idea I have changed the clutch on my mk2 cortina 1600e, today unfortunatly after several hours of swearing it still wont go into gear, so i was thinking just now as this has been bugging me could i have put the bearing on wrong way. the smooth rounded side to the clutch plate or the flat side to clutch plate,which way is it? anyone help please. look forward to any advice. :mellow:

ANYONE So is this one of these items that should be on the rarest item owned. Pretty hard to get hold of You see the Odd seat on ebay now & Again If you see a passenger on the base's or covers swop over Good Luck Thanks will keep an eye out but have been looking for a while now. they will come up when i no longer need them thats what usually happens. lol

Hi all i still need some seat bases for my mk2 cortina 1600e, anyone out there got any? I need to replace mine as they are a little worn and starting to rip. This is the actual base you sit on with vinyl covering.

Hi all can anyone help? Just bought a mk2 2 door ford cortina, NEEDS ALOT OF WORK :icecream: However tried to check registration on it and no info, phoned dvla and they have explained that the car has been off road too long and it needs re registaring, I have to contact vehicle owners club about the number plate, and then inform them. Anyone have any ideas.
