On lotus heads that are often skimmed too much you could use the various range of Cometic head gaskets these can be quite thick and lower the CR. Cheers Brendan

I had this problem and was easily cured by purchasing some bathroom scales and a diet book... ;)

If its the same as the earlier P14 calipers ford ones had the brake pipes enter downwards from the top other P14 calipers used had brake pioes that fix in the middle if the side.
