spooky :unsure: being a newbie, i have been working on my car for the past year on and off. and apart from your bonnet, everything else is identical. me and the mrs are totally freaked out same original colour to what it is now [audi red ] interior , boot floor petrol cap etc etc . the car was also a 1600 ohv and body work welding was the same areas, strange well done fella good work, i can honestly say i know what you went through :cheers:

many thanx for the replies, sorry didnt get back sooner been building the ol girl all weekend, the fr 30 sounds the safest bet. as for cambelts whats the best burtons / q.h / gates etc or are they all the same :cheers:

tried a co2 meter to see if its running too lean being a new carb :cheers:
