  3. I like the Rostyles on your car, they look good. If it was mine id look for an original set of centre caps for them though, but thats just me, its your car, and whatever you choose its still going to be a good looking Mk3!

Thats a nice car, and some great work going on there too! Well done mate
  8. Thanks for the replies people, havent been on here in a while as my broadbands been down! Its hard to explain, with the QH ones i got, when you tighten the small bolts up, there was a gap betwen the arm and the balljoint where the tie bar bolts go through. It was the same on both sides so it wasnt like one arm was bent. It just seems like they had been made with the wrong angle. In the end i got some First Line ones that were better, but there was still a gap, so i put a washer between the arm and the tiebar bolt holes which seems to work, and got some longer bolts. I'll be checking them once its been on the road for a bit though. I should have took pics but my camera batery was flat when i was doing it!
  9. Wanted, Genuine Ford new old stock lower front ball joints, for a Mk4, as repro ones dont seem to fit properly! Cheers, Jon 07753 720107
  10. Very nice, like what you are doing with it! Looking forward to seeing this next show season!
  11. Nice work on the trim there! Just watched the latest vid, im stripping down the front clip on mine this weekend, fingers crossed it all comes apart as easily as yours did!
  12. I have the same problem, wanting a good sound system while keeping it all hidden away! Im putting the head unit in the glovebox, and running an aux lead through to the centre console for my Ipod. Im going to put speakers under both front seats and mount subs and amp behind the rear seat. Im also going to try and fit tweeters in the dash where the original speaker goes if possible.
  13. Some nice cars there, Id love that Mk4 though!
  14. Only just seen this, such a shame! But the main thing no one was hurt. Looks like you are well on your way to getting it sorted though, best of luck with the repairs, ive seen alot worse! Also, i like the Lazer wheels you have on the car now, they really suit the car
  15. Nice! My dad had 2 mk2s back in the day, both long gone now though!
  16. Thanks again everyone for the comments, been a while since ive updated this! Right, ive got the rear axle fitted up and back on I had the propshaft refurbed, it needed 2 new knuckles and the centre bearing replacing. Aparantly someone has had it apart before, replaced half the bearing and hammered it back together the wrong way round! So its now been re-welded and put back together the right way round. Then i painted it and fitted it today The next job is to replace all the bushes on the front end, including the crossmember bushes and engine mounts. So ive started by taking the engine out Im going to concentrate on just the suspension/running gear for now, and give the engine a clean for now. I reckon il repaint the bay and mabe strip and rebuild the engine next winter, as i only get to work on the car 1 day a week! Thanks for looking
  17. Nice work on the dash repair, it looks really good mate! Also, as im sure ive said before, your car is beautifal, Roman Bronze is my favorite colour on Mk4 Ghias!
  18. Great to see you back mate, cant believe its been a year already! Swampy looking good, nice panel gaps!
  19. Really nice car there, not sure what i like it on more, steels or Ghia alloys, it looks great on both!
  20. Your car looks really solid mate, such a shame about the front end. But at least youre getting the parts to rebuild it though! Best of luck with the rest of the rebuild, keep the pics coming!
  21. Good to see youve got another one, it looks tidy!
  22. Love this car, very rare indeed!
  23. Brilliant! I love anything like this. Thanks for posting
  24. Yes mate, the passenger seat base was used, and the cover was taken off carefully. The drivers side seatback has the usual side bolster wear though. Which bits do you need?
