Hello everyone, some of the longer members may know me. I was into Cortina's for many years and had I would say a memorable 2 door GXL that was in a very good state. I owned this car for over 15 years and had undergone a couple of major revamps, bare metal respray and total rebuild from ground up. but in February 2016 some scrotes decided to steal it for fun and destroy it. From that day I said I will never own another. I bought a Zephyr 6 that was told was a good one. On further findings it was a bag of crap and needed major works. So with my heart on the floor it needed to be done, but the full story is too long, after many years it is looking sweet and running a V8. I still have / had friends in the Cortina world and spoke to some regularly and I also class as good friends. As some of you may know Crazyian. Who I have been friends with for over 20 years passed. The joke was always he will go before me and I will have his car.... well that time did happen a man of that much integrity and kindness passed (miss you mate). I am happy to say I am back as I have now the owner of HANK. so my spirit is back in the Cortina world.. Regards Rick. God bless you Ian x

Fine by me.. actually had a phone call from the police tonight.. and they couldnt tell me if where it was but it has been recovered.. I said to the officer "I dont think so" USELESS f king usless I am afraid I dont want to see the car so I ask people not to post pics. I am gutted so gutted it actually makes me sick

Had that car 17 years and worked on it along with Steve had many a project on it and it was part of the household family. The most annoying thing is a skunk smoking T wat thinks it fun to steal and wreck other people property and livleyhood. My pride and joy to race around a town and then watch it burn and a mans livley hood taken from him by stealing the tools he needs to feed a family and have things that money buys.. not taking them from some who has earned it like a lot of society reprobates that now don our land. all this so the T ossers can buy an ounce of FKing weed. angry I am but sad and gutted is the main emotion at the moment. I have now phoned the police 3 times and they have not returned my call, I have been told nothing. Steve and his pals found the car that is the only way I know anything.. :angry:

stolen from a workshop in tilbury. Essex and involved in an incident the driven to a backstreet and set alight. police phoned about 8:30

As above any news on it will be gratfully recieved, It was stolen from a workshop, involved in an incident and set alight.. Police say totaly gutted Felling like c rap at the moment as I cant get it through my head
