  1. I'm still after a front bumper, let me know how much please if still available thanks
  2. Just come back on here after a long time away,so amazing to see ole Swampy gleaming like brand new, really fantastic to see it finished, awesome Pete
  3. Yes that's the one,I did a deal with the guy on a couple of cars,he and his mate have a bit of a collection of motors up there..He has several other granadas including one of the original Sweeney mk2's apparently! I tidied up and sold on the Renault for a bit of profit to put into getting the Granada back on the road. Its really sound but has needed quite a lot of recommissioning as its been off the road so long. I know the PFL Ghias didn't come with rear over riders as standard but some series 1 cars did have them,i had several in the 80's with them fitted including an ex-police 2.8i GLS,and as I have one new rear one here if I can find another I will put them on as I think they look a bit odd with just front ones fitted. I also need to replace the front Ford spotlights as they are damaged, might be able to salvage the cases and one glass but reflectors are rusted out. Also need the rear bumper centre pad which is proving hard to track down the right one.I wanted to keep the original metric TRX alloys as they really set the car off and they never look as good with the smaller standard 14" ghia ones fitted, which a lot of people seem to fit instead,so managed to track down a really good set of TRX tyres for them.I'm hoping to have the car sorted and ready for test soon, once I get the correct downpipe,my exhaust supplier is sourcing me the correct ones to replace the incorrect pair sent,as there are 4 different types fitted to the 2.8 unit depending on running gear.
  4. does it have to go as a complete interior or would you sell just the back seat,if so,how much, thanks.
  5. Thanks Craig, let me know how much with postage please.
  6. Thanks Dave, yes tyres came today,my neighbour took them in.not had chance to unpack them but I am sure they will be fine.I was also bidding on the sports steels you have on ebay,if you get any more let me know.
  7. Yes that is the car,I recognise the XEC plate as it was me who re-registered it to that number when I owned the car in 2006, after I sold its original number.I bought the car off Dunc up in Scotland. The car was originally Titan Blue,a 2.0GL. Here is a pic of how it looked back then,on its original plates.I see the front wing trims are still missing!!
  8. Hello all,not been on here for absolutely ages now :ninja: Am after a few bits for my mk5 saloon, smaller items willing to post please and larger bits ideally local to me or in north west area as I may be able to collect them during the day in my works van if passing near. original 4 speed gear knob, with lock nut. Crusader saloon back seat,in grey, both sections,no rips[mines ripped] Crusader nearside rear inside door pull cloth handle,in grey mk5 front bumper, decent useable condition,or better than mine, which is rust pitted quite bad on top sections both front wing rubber trim pieces[thicker Crusader/GL/Ghia type] 2x bonnet rubber mushroom tops boot area rear seat cardboard cover trim I am also after a set of 5 GL sports steel rims, tyres unimportant as I have a mint set of 185's for them already. I also have a pre-facelift series 1 mk2 Granada 2.8 Injection Ghia saloon, which is undergoing some restoration/recommissioning at present as its been off the road since the early 90's,so am after a few parts for that too if anybody has any or knows someone who does, its mainly a few trim bits now as the panels and underside are good on it.Hardest thing I'm trying to get is a decent offside front downpipe,a lot of the copy parts out there are very poor and don't fit/too short etc. I now mainly need- a front 2.8i spoiler 1x rear over rider[78GB part not later 82GB facelift] the 2 inside rear pillar trim panels, either side of rear parcel shelf I may need some Injection parts also, but will know for sure once its back together and running as the gearbox is coming out first to sort an oil seal leak and unstick the clutch  Thanks in advance
  9. Craig,I will have the Corgi/Dinky light blue A40 please, and also the green Imp and red mini with black roof-are these 2 vanguards models? can do paypal,PM me total with postage and i will give you my details. Cheers,Mike.
  10. sorry folks not been on here since i posted ad so just seen replies... they are the outer wheelarch repair sections, that join to the sill/rear wing.i'll try and take some pics but no idea how to upload pics to this site from my phone?? :headscratch: as my digi camera is bust. dunnie i will inbox you with my paypal addy ok.
  11. Great article and nice car  one of best colours too for a mk3 i think,i've had a couple in it. can't beat a nice new gen.Ford item as a replacement part
  12. great to see this one has been saved.it looks pretty good anyway to start with!! a rare late R plate too,not many on those now.i had a R plate GT a few years back 2007 i think it was,PLO 80R,i think it was one of the last GT's built.it had been resprayed black from its original silver but it was for sale again last year i think, fully restored and resprayed back to its original silver colour. i too bought it from somebody on here  good luck with the resto
  13. For sale new pair of mk4/5 saloon 4dr rear wheelarch repair panels,LH and RH,NOT genuine Ford. £18 each plus postage[ £10 via Courier],or collect them yourself if you wish, location Southport,Merseyside.
  14. too true,i've sold lots of mine in past years then regretted it and come back to them.but sadly mk3's are now too expensive for good ones and i'll never afford to own another really nice one, will just stick to keeping my vanguards models collection!! also having to sell my mk5 on ebay as i'm a bit strapped for cash, can't see me buying anything for a long time now :tears:
  15. might be worth you advertising them on the Capri forums, will be a lot more folks running Essex engines there,as most people tend to use the 2.8/2.9 injection V6 in Cortinas i would say.
