Have ( probably ) decided reluctantly to part with my Series One Mk 2 Crayford Convertible. Its a good solid car which I have enjoyed massively, First impressions it looks scruffy but the more you look the more you realise that its a good solid car that would benefit from a respray as the paint is badly crazed therefore needing a bare metal respaint. It is MOT ed and runs well with a 1600 crossflow with lynx manifold and a single 40 Weber. I have spares including the rare side quarter panel windows, a fuel tank etc. If I could email someone pics maybe they could post on my behalf ?? I think it will fetch £ 6000. Its a perfect car for someone as a project at home and will make a wonderful car in the right hands. Obvously anybody interested would need to view. Car is based in Woking Surrey I am not in urgent need of the money therefore if it dosent make that money I will keep it. Cheers Jon 07771518283

Hi I looking for a decent individual /workshop to get my Crayford back up and running, it was MOT ed and running two years ago and is structurally superb, due to other commitments it has sat in my garage . Therefore it needs brakes freeing off ,engine once over, etc etc. I also have a lynx manifold and single webber to be fitted. I am able to do the work but and pushed for any time.I am happy to pay the going rate just want the right person. I have access to a trailer and could deliver the car, I also have a realistic MOT test station I use. Any recommendations would be gratefully received. Cheers Jon ( I am based in Woking Surrey )

Used to see a couple of crayford corsairs and cortinas - back in the day - running 3.0 v 6 engines without any problems. Its what got me hooked !! Fantastic resto. Keep the pics coming. They are inspirational.

Looking at the box section along the inner sill looks like a Crayford to me . I wonder if its on the register ???
