I've had a batch of these hessian jack bags made up for my cars (mk1 escort & mk1 cortina), they are made of heavy duty fawn coloured hessian, copied off an original Ford Escort mk1 jack bag & just wondered if anyone on here was interested in them, might be suitable for cortina's & other 60's & 70's Fords. I now have a batch of 22 of these jack bags ready, they are £25 each including post & packing if anyone is interested. cheers, Stu.

I used these connectors from halfords for the grey front connector block at the slam panel, take the new metal sleeves out of these new connectors & push them into the original grey connector block, saves trying to clean up the old connectors. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_196283_langId_-1_categoryId_255229

my GT is a July 65 car & still had traces of the original green paint on the engine & gearbox

Thankyou! Yes I've done most of the hard work & spent a lot of time & money on it, I hope it goes to a good home, I'll be sorry to see it go but with my other cars needing work somethings got to go. :tears:

Advertising it on here first before it goes on ebay. Reluctantly selling my April 1963 mk1 cortina super 2-door strip speedo model due to to many projects & not enough space. Its a rolling shell, all welding is done apart from fitting a new passenger side front wing. My rebuild thread can be found here. http://www.buysellcortina.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/19990-my-new-project/ Shell Has been bare metalled all over top & underside, etched & primered, has new strut top mounts welded in, new N/S sill, boot floor section, outriggers & jacking points, 2 new door skins fitted which cost over £120 each, comes with a new old stock front wing which has been soda blasted & primed which cost £700. Excellent bonnet & bootlid. All suspension & axle has been shotblasted & painted, polybushed, all new shock absorbers, new track rod ends & ball joints , new copper brake lines. Reconditioned steering box. Propshaft with new U.J's. It comes with all glass, useable black front & rear seats & doorcards, dash top, strip speedo & alloy dash trims. I have new front & rear screen seals, door seals, pair of NOS sidelight lenses & gaskets, 1 NOS sidelight unit & 1 secondhand, NOS wiper switch, new chassis plate for stamping. Pair brand new headlamp trims. Pair of brand new stainless quarter bumpers with brand new bumper irons & good S/H rear bumper. Brand new pair of headlamps & new spotlamp type reverse lamp. Good straight S/H front grill, good solid fuel tank, baremetalled & painted. Have the original headlining & bars but it will need a new one, no carpet. No engine or gearbox with the car. Comes with used rear lights, & various used trim, clips & bits etc, too much to list (can be seen in photos) Lots of bits & pieces have been shotblasted & painted. All of this is to go with the car. I've probably forgotten to list a few things (please see photos). More pics can be found here; http://s733.photobucket.com/albums/ww334/raxmk1/1963%20mk1%20cortina/ As you can see this has cost a lot of money in parts & panels. It has a current V5 in my name. I'm looking for £3,750 or nearest offer for the lot, car will obviously need trailering & the car is situated on the Isle of Wight.
