Just an enquiry. In 2017 due to illness having cancer treatment I was completely skint so I had to reluctantly part with my mk1 gt replica it was a lhd car fitted with a x flow . I sold it through a classic car auction and a dealer bought it . Just wondered if anyone on here owns it now? Reg no VAM 524D

My 1600e boot lid has the F letter missing from the ford lettering across the boot lid. Does anyone supply them? Thanks

I have some rust bubbling up at bottom of my windscreen pillars .what's best way to repair it ? Do they make a replacement panel or should I dig out the rust and fill with metal filler? I'd imagine it's a big job with replacement panels , windscreen out job ? Thanks

Sadly due to losing nearly a year from work due to cancer treatment I had to sell my mk1 LHD 2 door GT replica at a classic car auction. It was in lovely condition and ran great I'm gutted having to sell it but hope it's gone to a good home . Got less than I wanted but I needed the funds and I still have my 1600e to enjoy . I have some nice mk1 bits I may sell , I'll advertise them here first before I eBay them .

My rear parcel shelf needs replacing on my series 2 1600e . On eBay Aldridge do one , are they ok? And are they easy to fit? They are £128 plus post do either of the mk2 clubs do them ? Thanks

Unfortunately I'm having to sell my Lhd mk1 cortina Gt replica 2 door via a classic car auction it does effect price as my car is in lovely condition but I reckon it's about a 2k difference between LHD and RHD

I've reluctantly decided to sell my mk1 2door Gt replica . Due to recently finishing cancer treatment I've decided to part with it as just not using it as also have owned a 1600e for past 15 plus years which I feel attached to so will stick with that . The mk1 is LHD originally from Finland but will be easy to convert to RHD . I have a spare RHD steering box to go with car to convert it , it has a full gt dash that can be left in place for conversion . It's 2 door Nice white colour scheme with red stripe and Gt badges and dash and interior Fitted with 1600 x flow and close ratio gearbox Minilite style wheels and lotus quarter bumpers A really tidy clean running car mot till end august £7900 or reasonable offer Keith 07824330884 I'm not great with computers so don't know how to post pics on here but can email them I'm also advertising on mk1 owners site on Facebook where I will post pics .

I'm a lucky fella as own a mk1 2 door Gt replica and a 1600e . Unfortunately I've been very ill , I finished treatment for cancer now but I'm skint so with great reluctance I decided to maybe sell one of my cars . As I've owned my 1600e the longest about 16 years I will have to part with my mk1 . It's clean and tidy , it's fitted with a 1600 xflow . It's 2 door , white with a red stripe with Gt black interior . It's a 1966 It spent most of its life in Finland so it's LHD but I have RHD steering box ready to convert it but never bothered . What do you think it's worth , it's up and running , mot till august , I'm not sure how to post pics
