  2. Thanks guys, it's a 1209 Hans, I did try to start it but I need to replace the serviceavle stuff, leads weee broken etc etc...spins over well, all the lights indicators etc work!!

  8. I don't know where my pics have gone? The fly screen is similar to what you can get for audi's mercs, bmws etc...it actually works really well!!

  12. I can see PAL on the picture link thing, but when I click on it I get a message saying view on YouTube the owner has disabled access from other websites (or something very similar!)
  13. The original rivets are quite soft, I normally centre punch them and drill the heads off

  19. Well this came up on EBay and I didn't know of the car, it has spent at least the last 30 odd years in Wiltshire. The previous owner had it for 28 years and maintained it regardless of cost. It didn't sell on EBay, but I drove down Wednesday to view and the dealer let me take trim out etc to check on it. I was really quite impressed, it needs a tidy up here and there but is at the stage where it's not too late to keep it nice. It's a 2.0 GLS auto and drives superbly, I had though it would drive along with loads of scuttle shake like the escort cabs, but it is great and rigid..the auto box is fantastic, a nice easy cruiser!!! So this will be the Yat transport this year, looking forward to getting it tidied!! Some pics from the auction ad
  20. Satin on the shroud....I don't think mk3's came with painted sills, that was a usual thing to do once sills replaced, body colour would look better
