hi there, i am looking to change the steering boss on my mk3 for an aftermarket boss and wheel. the splines are larger than the mk1 escort,mk1 cortina and mk2 cortina. what is the mk3 cortina the same as? suppliers here have no listing for the mk3 cortina. is it the same as mk2 escort?sierra,or what?

i am on the lookout for a mk3 cortina rolling shell i intend doing a rv8 transplant,t5 gearbox and goodness knows what back axle yet anyway,if you have one,a half,a wreck etc give me a shout i do not want a whole car that is running and original,i respect the breed and will do my bit to preserve them as best i can i want an unloved ,half fooked one,forgotten,half started,abandoned one so i can save it i am in ireland,but that won't stop me tvm
