  1. Yep, still have it. You have first refusal ;)
  2. Im 99% sure its the same but please make sure, i would hate to sell it to you and it didnt fit.
  3. I am selling a wood rim 3 spoke Mountney steering wheel and Cortina boss. Both in VGC. No longer needed as my 'Tina has had to go :headscratch: Im not completely sure what its worth but i have been told £30 is reasonable??? plus postage of course.
  4. Thanks for the tips guys. Ill put that into practice and see what happens :D
  5. Cheers guys :headscratch:
  6. Doesnt look too bad mate, ive taxed worse :headscratch: Good luck with it, keep the pics coming.
  7. Mk2addict, did you have any joy regarding the axles?
  8. Maybe he really wanted a boat???
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum. Im quite new myself and ive learnt loads just reading through different threads. Ive also learnt there are two guys who seem to have the info at the tip of their fingers. One has already posted here (sheffield cortina) and the other is bortaf. VERY knowledgeable guys. Saying that, look through the members car area, some bl**dy clever people on here!!! Good luck with the conversion.
  10. As i cant seem to find a rear axle for love nor money im going to whip mine off and see if i can get it repaired. depending on what it costs of course. One person listens to it and says diff, another says bearings...probably needs a full refurb. I didnt want to spend too much on it but looks like the bodywork bits and bobs will have to hold on until i get the prices for the axle repair. The car wilkl now be out of action until further notice. :ninja:
  11. Thanks guys. Found them on both sites :ninja:
  12. The rear arches on my Mk5 are starting to suffer where they meet the bottom of the rear quarter. Does anyone have repair panels for these? Or does anyone have a good panel i could cut and weld a piece on? Its only at the very corners but would like to catch it now and dont want to trowel a load of pudding on it. Cheers.
  13. Its a Kenwood. Tried a few extra wires but either its not working or there isnt one. Decided to say sod it and bought a new JVC. Nothing flash but it does the job well enough for me.
